The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Small Business Programs Office (SBPO) is issuing an SBIR/STTR Opportunity (SBO) inviting submissions of innovative research concepts in the technical domain(s) of Human Systems and Artificial Intelligence. In particular, DARPA is interested in understanding the feasibility of a Generative Immersive Scenario Testbed (GIST). Objective: DARPA is seeking proposals to develop and demonstrate a system that generates novel 3D training and research testing scenarios that include humans behaving within environments from real-world scenes and/or 2D video. The objective is to create realistic training content more rapidly that allows the instructor to vary environments, populations, and situations for salient, realistic, and immersive experiences.
